Sarah Sword Lazarus is a principal and co-founder of CL-Media Relations, LLC, established in 2006. CL-Media advises financial companies on their internal and external communications and positioning in the media.

Sarah has 20 years of media and public relations experience, the last 15 of which have been focused on financial services. Before forming CL-Media, Sarah founded SSL Media Relations in 1999.

Previously, Sarah was an associate at Schofield & Company, Boston, a public relations boutique that specialized in serving financial services clients. She started her career as a broadcast reporter for WABI-TV, a CBS Television affiliate in Maine. She has her Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College and her Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

Personal
Ms. Lazarus sings alto in a mixed a cappella group called “The Works” and also enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, and skiing with her family.
